Foggy Garden Bench: The Buddha Rocks Project

Evelyn at Filling a Hole has a challenge called The Buddha Rocks Project.
The rules are basic. 7 days of posts inspired by 7 pictures taken by Eric who also has a blog over here: Bubba’s Place.

This is my first attempt at 50 word flash fiction.
This is day 6.

Foggy Garden Bench
A quintessential colonial garden in the middle of winter; fog wafts above neat, rolling lawns and lightly fondles elderly brownstone buildings. It is cold, and intimate, and there is an abandoned garden bench fashioned from wrought iron rods with scarcely enough space for a couple to huddle alongside one another.

To me, “scarcely enough room” sounds like the perfect amount for a huddling couple. Nice piece, Scribbla!
