Having lived through both drought and flooding rains of late, when children had never seen water fall from the sky, this got me on several levels. At first, the ground cover seemed to green to be trembling in anticipation – that was my drought experience – then I remembered the floods…………

Mmmmm. I was thinking of the whipping winds through the bushes and the thunder and lightning as it approaches, drying the air and charging it right before the rain dump. Fortunately, I have not experience a flood yet, but can imagine that the world rumbles then too.

I almost expect to see a herd of gigantic dinosaurs making their way across the landscape, making the ground shake. I guess I should point out that I’ve been watching Walking with Dinosaurs on BBC the last few days!
