Fake Empire

I’m developing a nasty cold, hence another haiku and photograph for the week.

Fake Empire
Build a world for me
Where the lights can never die;
I’m yours forever.

    Oh wow, what a special photo, you must be so proud to have captured such a moment! I adore it. And I do believe this is the most wonderful haiku you have ever written – simple, stunning, such imagery “build a world for me.” You never cease to amaze!

      Thank you very, very much for your kind words. I really do appreciate them, particularly from an incredible poet such as yourself.

      No Monkeying with the sky. This was taken in a shopping mall and casino in Johannesburg, South Africa. The sky is created by lights. If you look closely you’ll notice little black dots up there that transmit the imagery. Those clouds move too!
